Pay check stubs have now been replaced with pay slips

In many countries, paycheck stubs have been replaced with pay slips because their wire transfer systems are well developed and they electronically transfer the employees’ wages to the bank.  The employees just use their ATM cards or debit cards to withdraw their money which makes it more convenient and safer for companies with a big payroll.

It is required by law, however to provide employees with pay slips in lieu of the old paycheck stubs to provide them a written record of their wages and the deductions made from their gross pay.
